Connections!

Hello Dancing Friends,

Last Sunday I had a fun and unique experience teaching with 9 other Nia teachers from Austin, Bastrop and beyond at Studio Espavo in Bastrop, TX. What joy I had connecting with old and new Nia friends! Connection, feeling connected, I believe, is one of the most basic needs of humanity. Connection to self, others and all of life. Nia gives me the opportunity to connect to wonderful beings like you and others across the world, and there is no better way for me to connect to my body, emotions, mind and spirit than through dance.

This week in my classes I am playing with connections. Connections to the music, to our breath, to our eyes, skin, sound...to each other! Everything is a connection.

It's seems crazy to me that it is already Labor Day weekend and I will be teaching the entire weekend so come to class - I want to connect with you!

SATURDAY:

* 8:45 AM YOGA AND 4:00 PM NIA AT THE SYNERGY STUDIO

MONDAY (LABOR DAY - YES!!!)

* 5:30 PM NIA AT THE SYNERGY STUDIO No Labor day yoga at Gold's Gym Downtown.

TUESDAY:

10:45 AM YOGA AT GOLD'S GYM ALAMO HEIGHTS

Another way for me to connect no matter what is going on in my life is with the Anjali hand Mudra, or Prayer hands. It has a way of centering me, where I connect to mySelf, humanity and God.
