While the month of November often brings the awareness of gratitude to life, why wait?? Living in gratitude is something we can do on a daily basis, and can be as simple as:
Writing a thank you note to a friend (not a email - a card!).
Keeping a gratitude journal and writing down at least 1 thing you are grateful for each day. This is my practice and it helps to put life in perspective and starts my day off with sunshine!
Offering a smile. It will not only make you and the person you are smiling at feel better...it also makes you appear 10 years younger! Read this!
Giving a hug - as many as you can!
Saying "Thank You" as much as possible during your day. When something goes right for me or I have lost something and found it, I immediately say out loud "Thank You" to God, to the Universe, and many times to St. Anthony!
And one of the best things to do daily (if not more) is to say "Thank You body!!" I invite you to give appreciation and gratitude to your body by coming to one of my Nia, Tai Chi and Yoga classes; check out my schedule HERE! Your body is your oldest friend and will always be with you. There is not a better way to say "Thank You" to your body than to move!
In deep gratitude for YOU and all you bring into my life.
Dhanya Vad & Namaste,
